Carnsmedia created Carnsmedia Week in order to promote Social Media Day on June 30. The goal of #CarnsmediaWeek was to showcase real live social media tips that help local NYC businesses grow and become more successful.
Throughout the week, Carnsmedia visited local businesses in Little Italy, Theater District, Soho and the West Village tasting rare bourbons, delicious desserts, and authentic Italian cuisine while sharing social media tips to increase press coverage, online purchases, in-store sales, and overall online presence through unique selling points, influencer events, “sticky photography” and “one-click buy”.
I started Carnsmedia to help my favorite local businesses grow. I have been living in NYC for 15 years, and have seen too many of my favorite NYC restaurants, bars and bakeries closed down in my neighborhood. It just made me so mad! The businesses thrived INSIDE the 4 walls but forgot about the importance of what goes on OUTSIDE the 4 walls: social media, website, email campaigns, photography, influencer events, and targeted social ads.
Some owners attempted to post to social media, build a website, host influencer events and take photos, but how can they do everything well? They can’t. Eventually, the stress of doing everything adds up and the doors finally close for good. But I refuse to let that happen in today’s society with Social Media at our fingertips.
