At Carnsmedia, we bring creative concepts to life, such as our collaboration with Little Pie Company to publish their bakery calendar, “Windowsills.” This calendar features a monthly seasonal pie showcasing flavors inspired by kitchens across America. We worked hand in hand with the Little Pie Company team to carefully select 12 pies representing different kitchens, cultures, and regions across America. To bring this vision to life, we tapped renowned food photographer and frequent collaborator Sasha Gitin to capture the essence of each pie resting on a windowsill.

Picture this: It’s the end of the day and you’re just returning home when, out of the corner of your eye, you spot a fresh-baked pie resting on the windowsill. The aromas quickly fill the kitchen as you grab a fork and plate.

While America represents a melting pot of cultures — and no two kitchens are exactly the same — we can all agree on one thing: Nothing feels homier than digging into a warm, straight-out-of-the-oven pie. So, what’s your favorite flavor?

Each month, Little Pie Company is proud to debut a new Pie of the Month, and the main ingredient is traced back to unique regions across America. For example, in April, plump, ripe cherries imported from Michigan bring us Montmorency Cherry Pie. Or, enjoy a taste of the tropics with our July Pie of the Month, Key Lime, made with fresh and zesty Florida Key Limes — and if you shut your eyes for a few seconds, you may just be transported to the beach!
